Red and yellow brigade delivers egg-cellence

Following their successful colab over Christmas, the City’s Fire & Rescue Service teamed up with Shoprite once more, delivering Easter treats to young children. Read more below:
The City's Fire & Rescue Services and Shoprite teamed up to deliver sweet treats to more than 300 young children at four locations around the city:
- Holy Cross Educare in Belhar
- St. Anne's Home in Woodstock
- Lawrence House in Woodstock
- Olieboom Educare in Philippi
Firefighters clubbed together to donate 60 boxes of marshmallow eggs and Shoprite sweetened the deal with easter eggs and personal care products.
'Our Firefighters love showing their sweet side and we are all for it. Thank you also to Shoprite for hopping on board with this initiative. These small acts go a long way, and help build positive relationships with our communities,' said Mayoral Committee Member for Safety and Security, Alderman JP Smith. Published by:
